Sean Street's Radio 3 feature - a collaboration with Julian May - "The Trial of Ezra Pound" is repeated by the network at 9.45pm on Wednesday, 9 September, after that evening's Promenade concert. The programme explores Pound's time in Italy, his broadcasts from Rome and the political, cultural and human fall-out of his controversial views. As part of the programme Sean conducts an interview with Pound's daughter, Mary de Rachewiltz. First broadcast in July 2008, the documentary drew praise from the poet, Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
