The Bournemouth Internet Radio Station (BIRSt), founded ten years ago by Prof. Sean Street as part of the design for the MA in Radio Production in the Media School at Bournemouth University, will be relaunched at 12 noon UK time on Monday 8 February by the radio, television and stage personality, Phill Jupitus. The award-winning online radio site (www.birst.co.uk) is run entirely by students from the MA Radio Production course, which is currently recruiting for its 11th year, to start in September 2010. The academic year 2010/11 will be Sean's last running 'MARP' before he leaves Bournemouth University in 2011.
