Sean Street has been commissioned by Routledge to write "Radio and the Poetic Imagination - the Colour of Sound". The work brings together two passions, poetry and its kinship with radio. Sean will deliver the manuscript in September 2011. A publication date has yet to be announced. "Sound has been central to poetry since pre-print days," says Sean, "and the two are partners because of the active involvement reader/listener takes - black words on white paper/sound out of silence - the mutual contribution to making."
